CAC65

CAC65 is an alloy for terminals and connectors with equivalent mechanical properties as phosphor bronze; containing a small amount of Ni, Si and Sn, strengthened by precipitation hardening and solid solution hardening. It has high reliability with excellent electrical conductivity and heat resistance compared to phosphor bronze.

Features

1.        Higher electrical conductivity than 45% IACS. Temperature of the resin in its connectors under high current condition is smaller than that of phosphor bronze.

2.        Excellent softening resistance and stress relaxation resistance.

3.        Excellent current leak resistance if its connectors are exposed in the dewing atmosphere.

4.        Good solderability and good adhesion solder.

5.        Excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance, corrosion resistance and platability.

       Cu: Residual, Ni: 3.0-3.4, Si: 0.6-0.75, Sn: 0.4-0.6, Zn: 0.8-1.2

Note: (1) The spool diameter range from 150 mm to 500 mm in increments of 50mm.

        (2) The coil spool is also available in resin and steel.

        (3) Strip with Tin plating is also available, however, only in width less than 300 mm.
